BubbleScope

July 17th, 2007

Panoramic pictures offer exciting new ways to bore your family and friends with vacation photos, though they’re a serious pain in the butt to take. But a new gadget from across the pond promises to make it much easier for anyone to quickly take full panoramic photos.

It couldn’t be simpler, just hold the flashlight-sized BubbleScope in front of you, above you, or put it on a tripod, and push a button. None of that tedious jumping around in a circle, snapping off picture after picture and hoping they line up. Just one click, and you get a full 360 degree image. From there you upload it to your computer where you can use the included software to transform it into a panoramic photo, a normal photo (one that only includes a part of the full image), or a QuickTime image that lets you pan the perspective around with your mouse.
